Seattle Latvian Center is the meeting point for Latvians living in Washington State. Latviešu biedrība Vašingtona štatā (LBVŠ) reģistrēta 1957. g., lai apvienotu latviešus, uzturētu sakarus ar līdzīgām organizācijām un latviešu baznīcu, atbalstītu latvisko izglītību sestdienas skolās, vasaras nometnēs un skolās, un veicinātu latviešu kultūru un izglītību, sarīkojot priekšlasījumus, koncertus, filmu izrādes, mākslas izstādes un sporta nodarbības.
The Latvian Association of the State of Washington (LBVŠ) was incorporated in 1957 in order to unify Latvians, maintain contact with similar organizations and the Latvian church, support Latvian education in Saturday schools, summer camps and summer schools, promote Latvian culture and education by providing lecturers, concerts, films, art exhibits and sports events.
